Michelle Zechmann, MPA
Executive Director
Michelle has been Executive Director of Haven House Services since September 2009. In this role she directs, coordinates, and manages all operational and fiscal aspects of Haven House Services.
Previous to this she was the Director of Quality Management and Program Development at The Durham Center, a mental health, substance abuse and developmental disabilities management agency. In this role she worked with agencies to implement best and evidence-based practices. She has experience working for the last 20 years in both the mental health and the criminal justice fields. She worked as the North Carolina Juvenile Justice Specialist for several years and has recently been reappointed by the governor for her third term on the North Carolina Juvenile Justice State Advisory Group. Michelle has a BA in Psychology from the University of Buffalo and a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Anita White
Administrative Officer

Jennifer Boyler, MPA, SPHR
Director, Human Resources/QA
Jennifer oversees the human resource functions in the agency, including recruitment and training. She is also responsible for maintaining quality assurance standards. She has a Master's degree in Public Administration from North Carolina State University and is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources. Donnie Phillips
Interim Program Director, Second Round Boxing & Gang Outreach
Donnie is the program director for the Second Round Boxing and Gang Outreach programs, both of which are gang prevention/intervention services. Donnie received his BA in Psychology and Sociology from Appalachian State University. Donnie’s professional experience includes juvenile justice casework and administration, mental health, training, mentoring, and consulting. Amy Spalding
Program Director, Restitution and Community Service
Amy is program director for the Restitution and Community Service Program; she joined Haven House in 2003. Amy has a strong juvenile court background having been a Court Counselor for 10 years. She is a 1983 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she received a BA in Administration of Criminal Justice and Psychology. Patricia Cardoso, LPC
Program Director, Intensive In-Home and Multisystemic Therapy (MST)
Patricia earned a Master’s Degree in mental health counseling from the University of Miami in 1995. As program director for the Homesteaders and Community Support Program, she is manages a team providing intensive in home services and MST services to families in Wake County. Danielle Butler, LCSW

Program Director, Preparation for Independent Living Program
Danielle is program director of Wrenn House Crisis Intervention Program and Shelter. Danielle joined Haven House in January 2008.
