Tournament FAQ:

How do you play? Just measure 27 feet from the base of your cornhole board, mark your throwing line, throw four bags a total of 10 times, add up your score as you go, and submit it via email.

What if the tournament format? It’s a single player, single-elimination tournament; 32 players in each tournament bracket.

When does the tournament start and end? Tournament starts Saturday, May 22nd. You will have from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. to play each of your assigned games in the tournament until eliminated. We estimate championship games in each bracket will be played on Wednesday, May 26th. You are welcome to “play ahead” in the tournament by playing multiple games (each game is 10 rounds with 4 throws each round) on any given day. Just record scores for Game 1, Game 2, Game 3, etc., and submit the scores for the games each night if you advance. See the rules for full details.

What is the prize? The winner of each 32-player bracket in the tournament will win a $100 Amazon gift card.

Who can play? Anyone! Anyone can play who has a cornhole board and bags. You can register anyone in your household (including your kids). We will put multiple player registrations from the same household in the same 32-player bracket. If you want to play in the same bracket as someone registering separately, please email Lauren at lpfaffenroth@havenhousenc.org, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Feel free to share this site with any friends, family, coworkers who might have a board and want to play. They don’t need to be local.

What if I’m not an experienced player? Sign up and have fun with it. No experience is necessary. No matter how far you get you will be helping Haven House Services help youth in need. Matches are randomly assigned within each 32-player bracket so who knows how far you will get? Give it a try!

What if I still have questions? Contact Lauren at lpfaffenroth@havenhousenc.org.
