We believe every youth and family deserves a special Holiday season. Below are ways you can support youth and families participating in our programs:

Non-Perishable Holiday Food Kits:
Give the gift of a holiday meal! Donors create kits of non-perishable food items to help a family in need to prepare their own holiday feast. Small kits for 2-4 people will be distributed with $15-$25 grocery store gift cards. Large kits for 8-10 people will include a turkey donated by one of our nonprofit partners. Lists of suggested items will be provided.

Holiday Store for Youth:
Empower youth to give back to their caregivers! We are collecting donations for a Holiday Store where youth in Haven House programs and their siblings will be able to pick out a gift for each of their caregivers. Donations should be new gift items for adult men and women in the $20-50 range. Check out our Amazon Wish List for ideas of what to purchase or to have items shipped directly to us.

Adopt-a-Family Program:
Every family deserves a special holiday for their children. Individuals or groups can sponsor a Haven House family for the holidays. All families who are enrolled in the Haven House Adopt-a-Family program are currently participating in or have just completed a program with Haven House. Sponsors can choose to purchase wish list items or essential need items (or both) for each child or youth. We encourage sponsors to plan on a budget of approximately $100 per child/youth for their wish list items and a maximum of $100 for essential items. Ages of children and youth range from infant through 18-years-old. Sign up to sponsor a family using this link.

Gift Card Donations:
Gift cards are one of the most frequently requested items on the youth wish lists. We also use gift cards to provide gifts for families who are enrolled in a Haven House program shortly before the holidays. Gift cards are also distributed year-round to youth and families in our programs who need support. Gift cards can be in $5-50 denominations for fast-food restaurants, grocery stores, Target, Walmart, Uber, Lyft, and gas stations.

Basic Needs Donations:
Families often request necessities such as socks, underwear, winter coats, and winter accessories (hats, gloves, etc). Socks and underwear must be new. Coats and winter accessories can be new or gently-used.
