Skills 4 Success works with Wake County middle school students who are experiencing behavioral challenges in the school setting that may be interfering with their school success.

Skills 4 Success teaches these students the skills needed to better manage school and real life circumstances in a responsible and effective way. This program also provides support to parents of participating students through goal planning and targeted interventions addressing behaviors that may occur at school, home or in the community. The primary goal of Skills 4 Success is to help students remain successfully in school and/or transition back to school successfully if suspended.  Students will develop positive social and emotional skills that will help them do better at school, home and in the community.

Transportation is provided for participants in this program.

Skills 4 Success will provide school programming during after school hours at the following Wake County middle schools in the 2018-2019 school year:

  • Wendell Middle School
  • Daniels Magnet Middle School
  • Centennial Campus Magnet Middle School
  • Dillard Drive Middle School
  • East Millbrook Magnet Middle School
