Is your shelter for anyone?

Our shelter, Wrenn House, is only for youth ages 10-17

I am between the ages of 18-24 and homeless - how can you help me?

Haven House serves as the Coordinated Entry site for young adults ages 18–24. To complete an intake, call 919-980-2015 and leave a message.

Calls are returned within 48 hours.

I am between the ages of 18-24 and homeless - do you have a place for me to stay?

We do not have a shelter for youth over the age of 17. Visit our resources page for a list of emergency shelters in Wake County.

I am 25 or older and homeless and need support - what should I do?

Go in person Oak City Cares (1430 South Wilmington Street in Raleigh) for assistance with resources.

Do you provide rental assistance and/or help with utilities?

Haven House does not provide rental assistance or utility assistance. The following organizations may be able to help.

How do I refer someone to your programs/services?

How much do your programs cost?

Most of our programs are no cost for youth/families. Our mental health programs can bill Medicaid, and offer a sliding scale fee.

Do you accept clothing, furniture, or toy donations?

We do not accept furniture or toy donations. Please email us to see if your clothing donation will fit our needs. We do accept donations of nonperishable food, personal care items, and household cleaning/paper products to support our Essentials Pantry Visit our get involved page for up-to-date information on in-kind donations.

Our Locations

Our main program and administrative office is located at 1008 Bullard Court, Raleigh, NC 27615.

Our Wrenn House shelter for youth ages 10-17 who are experiencing homelessness and/or a crisis, is located at 908 W. Morgan Street in Raleigh. Both our facilities have their own parking lots with free parking.
