Our mission: To help youth be safe, supported, and successful
We operate three programs specifically to meet the unique needs of youth experiencing homelessness and/or a crisis. Wrenn House is an emergency, crisis shelter for youth ages 10-17. Our Street Outreach program and Transition in Place transitional housing program help older youth and young adults access shelter, housing, counseling, and the resources and services they need.
We offer several programs that can help youth understand, work through and overcome challenges they are facing. We help youth and their families build skills, access counseling and supportive resources, and find paths to success. We help youth be better prepared to transition into adulthood. Check out our Juvenile Diversion Team, Second Round Boxing, Outpatient Therapy, and Multi-Systemic Therapy programs.
Some of the youth we serve have made mistakes and need help finding their way to a better path. Our Restitution and Community Service program and Community Alternatives Program provide mentorship, skill-building activities, and help youth connect with their communities in positive ways. Our Juvenile Assessment Team provides clinical assessments and connects youth to supportive services that meet their needs.
Tyeshia found hope and a chance for a new beginning at Haven House. On the verge of being homeless, Tyeshia connected with Haven House’s Street Outreach Program, which in turn referred her to the agency’s Transition in Place program. That program helped Tyeshia and her two young children find and move into an apartment.
We have individual, group, and leadership opportunities available

Make a donation to provide needed program support and supplies
$1000 or $84 a month gives a youth the opportunity to participate in our Second Round program for a year where they can work on setting and achieving goals in four areas: Wellness, Learning, Leadership and Community.
$250 or $23 per month provides one night of shelter, food, counseling, and other support services for a youth age 10-17 experiencing homelessness and/or a crisis staying at our Wrenn House emergency shelter.
Every $50 donated provides one hour of crisis counseling to youth in need. Counseling is provided free of charge. Last year, Haven House services answered more than 900 crisis calls. Your support makes this possible.
