Is Haven House Services a House?
- Haven House Services provides a wide range of services for Wake County youth that are delivered through a number of our physical sites, as well as in the homes and communities where youth live. One of those programs is Wrenn House, a crisis shelter that provides short term intervention for youth who are in crisis and/or for families in need of respite. Have House Services no longer offers group home services.
I wanted to add in my two cents about my opinion of the program. Over the past few years, I’ve had two boys that have been involved in Community Service, Structured Day and Second Round. I think these are some of the best programs out here for the youth. The people that work with the children are always pleasant, and even though the circumstances for my children’s participation wasn’t always pleasant, their interaction with the staff of these programs was. I really appreciate everyone that gives a little of themselves to help a young person become a better person. I have seen attitude changes in my children and I don’t think I could have done it without Haven House’s services. Thank you 🙂
I was out at the Walnut Creek Wetland Center – leading the Wake Audubon Young Naturalist Club alongside Haven House youth on Saturday. You’re group were hard working and everyone had such a positive attitude. You’re doing wonderful things!!!!
They guided me in the right direction about getting back in school and earning a degree. I’ve gained a lot of knowledge while in the program and learned how to use resources. I don’t think they need to do anything else to be better; it is already a great place to be or go in a time of need.
