Shannon joined Haven House in 2016 as the Director of Development and was named Chief Development Officer in 2023. She leads the organization’s fundraising, marketing, and volunteer efforts in support of Haven House’s mission.

Before joining Haven House, Shannon spent more than 15 years as a development director for nonprofit organizations locally and in the St. Louis area, working in early childhood education and services for individuals with disabilities.

In addition to her nonprofit experience, Shannon brings more than 10 years of experience in marketing and public relations for corporations and associations.

Shannon holds a Bachelor’s in Journalism from the University of Missouri–Columbia and a Master’s in Public Administration from North Carolina State University.

Outside of Haven House, Shannon is a big soccer fan and avidly watches college, national, and premier league matches. Favorite food? Blueberry muffins. She is happiest when hanging out with her family at the Lake of the Ozarks.
