Housing and Shelter

Haven House is the agency designated to be the single “point of entry” for youth under the age of 24 experiencing homelessness in Wake County. We offer three Crisis and Homeless Services programs:

  • Wrenn House – The only homeless, runaway, and crisis intervention program and shelter for youth ages 10-17 in the Triangle. [Note: We do not operate a shelter for youth over the age of 17. Youth 18+ who need shelter should contact our Street Outreach Program].
  • Transition in Place – Helps homeless youth ages 18-24 and their minor dependents (if applicable) move into transitional housing services
  • Street Outreach – Provides homeless and street dependent youth ages 16-24 with food, hygiene kits, skill-building courses, case management, and referrals to needed services.
